MORAH DEBRA ASHER-ZITRIN
Debra is Assistant Teacher in our Downstairs 3's class. She received her BA from Skidmore College in 1991. Prior to becoming a stay at home mom, Debra worked in public service as a legislative aide and then as the Director of Government Affairs for the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. She also was a Music Together teacher in Westchester for approximately four years in Westchester, taught Religious School at Congregation Kol Ami in White Plains and was the Shabbat Evening Crafts Coordinator for eight years.
Debra lives with her family in Scarsdale and is the mom of three daughters ages 18, 16 and 11.
She loves reading, gardening music and crafting. Debra's wonderful experience as an educator along with her easy smile and positive energy make her a very welcome addition to Alef Bet!
